Orange Invitational In Syracuse
HUGE shout-out to the brave gymnasts who made it to Yale Club Gymnastics’ first competition ever on November 9, 2014. It’s incredible how much these guys improved in only 2 months!
Alden d’Souza
Alden had never touched a high bar before but decided to just try it out. This earned us important 5 points. His smile when sticking his dismount was worth at least 100 points. He later clarified that he was “just happy to be alive”.
Brittany Carmon
Brittany is just rocking the whole keeping-balance-game in her handstand on floor while the Syracuse girl in the background clearly isn’t. 😉
Eduardo Fraga
Eduardo’s first vault was so stellar that he was so motivated on this second one that he involuntarily attempted a front handspring – front flip. We’ll work on that till next time!
Ellen Gough
We could only convince Ellen to come compete the day before the meet. We’re glad you came and carried the team!
Mike Valalik
On the parallel bars, Mike’s legs were straighter and his toes were more pointed than they have ever been before. Nothing makes gymnastics coaches on this planet more proud!
Rachel Wofford
Our women’s captain’s flips on floor are so high that she’s only in half of our photos. You were rocking this routine! Now we’re only missing a certain floor music by Nicki Minaj…
Philipp Arndt
The Club’s President was able to place first on high bar and second on parallel bars even though he recently tore his ACL. Good recovery!
